TURKISH AMBASSADOR PRESSURED?

It was reported in Malaysiakini Breaking News that Anwar Ibrahim walked out from the Turkish embassy in Kuala Lumpur at 6.50pm today where he took refuge after being hit with sodomy accusations.

This happened soon after the Turkish Ambassador was summoned by Wisma Putra to explain why the Embassy was giving Anwar refuge.

According to another report by Malaysiakini Malay Edition, Rais Yatim quoted as saying that Anwar was never invited to take refuge in the Embassy but was there as a guest to the ambassador.

I believe that Rais Yatim has pressured the ambassador to chase Anwar out. Well, I believe that moving out of the embassy is the right thing to do.

Putting that aside, what puzzled me was that Rais Yatim has quoted that Anwar is a wanted criminal under the Penal Code! Now, I thought that the Police is still investigating? If the Police is still investigating why Rais quoted Anwar is a wanted criminal under the penal code? Is he a wanted criminal already? (This comes from the word of the Minister who lost Malaysia its Pulau Batu Putih, yet saying that it is still a win-win situation)

Everybody knows that among the former Semangat 46 leaders, Anwar is their sworn enemy. One must remember that Anwar was together with Tun Mahathir in 1988 crushed Semangat 46 into defeat in the General Election during the time.

Are those people (former Semangar 46 leaders) are to get Anwar this time around, as they managed to set Tun Mahathir aside! Only God knows.

In the meantime, it was reported in Malaysiakini that police forensic team today visited a luxury condominium in Damansara to gather evidence in regards to a sodomy report lodged against PKR de facto leader Anwar Ibrahim.

So fast? Only if they reacted as quickly in Nurin Jazimin and Sharlinie case and so other many cases that is still outstanding. Most of us are still waiting about the claim by the famous blogger in his statutory declaration on the involvement of the Deputy Prime Minister in the murder of Altantuya.

We hope the police would be impartial, though in the perception of many Malaysian, the credibility of the Malaysian Police Force are in question. Even in term of perception level, Malaysian police would probably be lower than their counterpart in Indonesia!

I hope our CSI team would have the integrity and conscience, and will not fall to the political influence in coming out with their investigation and findings.

Salam Saudara,

I am just tired of all these.

Why cant Khalid Ibrahim just announce that 20% reduction in the July to Dec 2008 MBSA Assessment Bill, the PR promised during the recent election?
We need to know this more than what will happen to Anwar Ibrahim.

Allah swt is ALL KNOWING and we just wait and see and leave it to the Police. Meanwhile we have the bills to pay..that should be our concerned. WaAllahualam.
