Police: 80% of crimes committed by Malaysians

KUALA LUMPUR: Contrary to popular belief, most crimes in the country are committed by locals and not foreigners.

“There have been cases where our people deliberately use an Indonesian slang to mislead others into thinking they are foreigners.

Two Nigerians found dead

KUALA LUMPUR: Two Nigerian students were found dead in their apartment, believed to be from a drug overdose, in Taman Connaught, Cheras.

Their housemate discovered their bodies in a room at their Angkasa Condominium at 10am yesterday. ...

... Nigerian Embassy consulate officer Ibrahim Hamidun urged the media not to speculate as to what had led to the students’ death.

“It has already been bad for us. We, Africans, have been wrongly accused for the recent Kepong murder and two of our people were arrested without any solid proof,” he said.
