I was made to understand by a friend that the Kuala Lumpur Chief of Police did not mentioned that the gathering at Kelab Sultan Sulaiman in Kampung Baru was illegal!
What was mentioned was that the police will monitor the gathering and ensure that the gathering stays as a private dinner function and the police will be there to ensure law and order.
Ok, then if that was the statement, it is a statements that we welcome.
I wonder why Utusan Malaysia gave the impression that it will be a illegal gathering?
