Did UMNO Lost GE12?

No, UMNO did not lost in the last General Election. It is true that MCA, MIC and Gerakan lost most of their seats, but UMNO won most seats still!

It has been a worrying trend among the supporters of Pakatan Rakyat, claiming that they won against UMNO. To the extend that they have forgotten simple mathematics.

UMNO still control 27 seats in Perak. DAP won only 18. Whereas, in Penang they command a formidable number of seats in most Malays dominated constituents. Yes they lost in mix areas to PKR, but other than Kelantan and Kedah, they are still much in control!

PR need to stop celebrating, we have not seen the last of UMNO yet! In fact a wounded lion will fight harder, and I will assume they will.

PR MP and ADUN need to work hard, and show the voters that they are a worthy alternative. Forget about grabbing the Federal government, work the economy and be a formidable alternatives, then voters will vote you again.

PR has not won! PR may have won a few battle, but not the war (yet).

Prove your worth, govern Kedah, Perak, Selangor and Penang well, and you will be rewarded again.

Don't be too complacent, its still a long way up....
